Dr. Rugova earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and holds a Master’s in Biomedical Science, where she was awarded the prestigious New York State Stem Cell Research Grant for her work in regenerative science. She is currently completing her PhD in Implant Dentistry, with an anticipated completion date of 2025, supported by an NIH research grant for her studies in advanced implant techniques.
With extensive training in implant dentistry, Dr. Rugova has completed advanced surgical programs and placed thousands of implants, refining her expertise in full-arch and complex restorative procedures. She is a published researcher with articles in respected peer-reviewed journals, including Bioengineering, and holds multiple patents for surgical implant instruments. Dr. Rugova is actively involved in advancing the field of implant dentistry and continues to participate in specialized training and professional development to bring the most innovative, evidence-based treatments to her patients.
Dr. Bernard Slota completed both his undergraduate and dental studies at Marquette University, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1977. He has pursued extensive continuing education throughout his career, regularly advancing his knowledge through professional journals, monthly meetings, and specialized programs. Dr. Slota has received advanced training in implant dentistry and completed a mini-residency in 2014–2015 to further refine his clinical expertise.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, where he holds the title of Associate Fellow, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Colorado Dental Association, the Denver Implant Study Club, the Metro Denver Dental Society, and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. Dr. Slota also served as a Clinical Instructor at the Las Vegas Institute from 2000 to 2010, sharing his expertise with other dental professionals while staying at the forefront of innovative techniques.
